Feelings ~ 5/9/23

Isn't life truly fascinating? It's remarkable how a single moment in a person's life can alter what seems predetermined as fate and destiny, yet in our eyes, it's merely a moment of interchangeable paths – that instance when life takes an unexpected yet incredibly beautiful turn.

These are the moments that, once entered, leave us forever changed. Perhaps it's destiny gently guiding events towards a perfect ending.

There's a yearning for home and belonging, even in places that no longer hold that feeling. Not because of sad events, but because moments evolve into cherished memories, and life has ushered us along a different path.

These are the moments that beckon reflection. As you sit in that exact spot, in the same seat, you can't help but wonder how those moments have transformed into memories, sometimes overlooked as life's hustle takes center stage.

Isn't it beautiful how one ordinary step on an average day, at the most ordinary time, can become a life-changing experience, shaping you into a more refined and perhaps happier version of your former self?

Life is endlessly fascinating in its seemingly unremarkable ways, and it's through the lens of time and cherished memories that we come to appreciate the significance of these moments.

Stop trying to reach other people’s expectations.

  I consider myself to be an observant person and quite recently I started noticing how some people put in so much effort trying to please others that they often forget who they are in the process.   I’ve had a few friendships in the past where I used to do everything to keep that person in my life, to the point where I’d stop caring about my own feelings and some people took that as an opportunity to mold me into the person they wanted me to be. Granted, I was a kid back then...still am but I never thought it would actually have an effect on me until now.   It’s necessary to put in your effort to make friendships work but honestly, if you don’t see those efforts being reciprocated and appreciated, then it’s not long before everything falls apart.   I have a friend who recently had a fall out with someone she considered her best friend. Getting to know me!✨

  Hey, this is my very first blog post and the last time I felt this much pressure was probably during my Alevel board exams!   So to begin with I would love to introduce myself, I'm a regular 17year old who wants to stay anonymous for the time being. I'm in my last year of Alevels so that means alot of big changes are coming my way! The thought of graduating actually feels unreal. I still remember the time I used to look at all the seniors graduating and think to myself "it's probably gonna take ages to get there and it looks like so much work" but now here I am graduating in just a few months! Time flies when you're busy worrying about why time isn't flying fast enough haha!  I also love being sorrounded by nature! I can't begin to tell you how many times I've stopped the most important work I'm doing just to stare at fluffy clouds and pretty sunsets!  I feel nature really connects humans to the beautiful big world we live in and sets ...
