Nature photography has got to be my favorite hobby!

Have you ever met someone who randomly stops in the middle of a busy street just to take pictures of a pretty sunset? Or maybe someone who constantly makes videos of fluffy clouds and has a specific album for it? Well if you don’t know of someone who does that, you do now!

I don’t remember when or how it all started but I’m glad it did. Photography can become an addiction once you realize how beautiful nature is!

About a year ago, I went on a trip to Malaysia. When people asked me what I loved about the place, the first thing that popped into my mind was nature. The greenery, breathtaking sunsets, and most importantly the fluffy clouds you get to see every day!

I think I spent the majority of that trip clinging on to my phone and power bank! I still remember, the first day we went sightseeing was the day I knew I’d love to call this place home.

There’s something so therapeutic about being connected to nature, the way it clears your mind, recharging you mentally and physically. Like, how on a stressful day we sometimes look out the window on to a natural view just to clear our mind.

I’ve noticed how my mood usually depends on the places I visit, I tend to feel joyful in places that are surrounded by greenery. Being able to breathe the fresh air somehow puts everything into place, it has the power to make you feel alive...literally.

And so I wanted to share some of my favorite pictures from that trip in this post! Maybe reliving those days through pictures helps me recollect those precious moments!

This is one of the islands I visited in Malaysia called Langkawi. The turquoise sea and the beautiful greenery honestly look like a painting!
I never knew how cable cars could frighten the life out of you yet soothe your mind all at once!

I've always dreamt of having breakfast with a view and it was perfect, except for the fact that my tea had gotten cold after the dozen pictures I took, but it was worth it!

And lastly this view! I actually couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this place! It looked unreal. The fresh breeze and the warm sunlight really did feel therapeutic!

Nature really is breathtaking!

Getting to know me!✨

Hey, this is my very first blog post and the last time I felt this much pressure was probably during my Alevel board exams!   So to begin with I would love to introduce myself, I'm a regular 17year old who wants to stay anonymous for the time being. I'm in my last year of Alevels so that means alot of big changes are coming my way! The thought of graduating actually feels unreal. I still remember the time I used to look at all the seniors graduating and think to myself "it's probably gonna take ages to get there and it looks like so much work" but now here I am graduating in just a few months! Time flies when you're busy worrying about why time isn't flying fast enough haha!  I also love being sorrounded by nature! I can't begin to tell you how many times I've stopped the most important work I'm doing just to stare at fluffy clouds and pretty sunsets!  I feel nature really connects humans to the beautiful big world we live in and sets ...

There's always more to the story.

Quite often, I observe a lot of people struggling to achieve something great, something that will change the way they live their normal ordinary lives, something that will change the way others think about them. Usually, the outcomes vary but it always ends up benefitting them in ways they couldn't have imagined.   These days, the idea of success is based on how huge the outcome is in no relevance to the input. Most of us assume that we're only successful if we've achieved what we've been working so hard for but it's not all about the end result. Every step we take towards something we're passionate about, big or small is an achievement. It could be something as little as getting out of bed when you thought you couldn't or as big as accomplishing your monthly or yearly goals.   Often times, it becomes a task to even consider the small failures as something that help build our success story because we're convinced that success has to be this pictur...

Life as we know it.

The term YOLO sounds so simple yet so particularly deep. Sure, we live only once but we also experience each day once which sounds bizarre considering we live every day in the same pattern.  Every day that we live, every minute that passes by never comes back almost like we’ll never relive today again even if tomorrow feels the same!   This makes me wonder how a small improvement to a 24 hour day can change the way we live it. I sometimes find myself pondering life. How it’s the perfect balance of consistency and inconsistency, how one decision made today can completely alter the route of your life the next day. It’s the perception of realizing that there are so many people in this world who we’ll never know, who will never have any impact on us or whose life we’ll never be a part of.   It’s the notion that no matter how slow or fast time flies, it’s always somehow moving forward and never stationary. It’s the awareness that happiness can be attained if we’r...
